Requirements could be a little more relaxed compared to the enterprise scenario, but you still have to design your project with availability, reliability, performance, scalability, security, and manageability in mind.

The lack of specialized technical people makes the manageability aspect potentially much more crucial; the solution must be as simple as possible to manage, with high-level tools (like the GUI) in the hands of just a few people who have limited skills in vSphere environments.
